Blood Sugar Diabetes Control App Reviews

After using for months and months, and despite repeat requestrs for a simple change in sort and perphaps landscape graphics, the authors despite a number of simple requests for change have done nothing. Who wants to go back to an entry each day and have to scroll from Jan 1? What a waste. Buy another one

This is a user-friendly, simple app that does what Ive been doing on paper for a long time. Its very easy and straightforward to use. The graphing tool is nice. Its very informative and adaptable. The ability to make notes sets this app ahead of some of the glitzier looking apps. There is, however, a strange thing about how it works. It keeps your records in a nice, readable format, but the display shows the last entry you made at the end of the list of entries. In other words, you have to spin through all of the entries you have ever made each time to get to the most recent entry. This seems backwards. I dont see any way to change the display. I suggest to the developer that the chronology of the display be reversed. I also suggest that there be a way to archive entries before a given date so that not all entries are displayed. Ive been using it for a couple of months, and the list of entries is becoming oppressively long.

I echo the 2 main complaints in these reviews: 1. The most recent entries should be first. 2. The list of medicines must be editable. Those two features would absolutely make this a 5 star app for me.

The listing always starts with the oldest date so you have to scroll down each time to see current date which can be maddening when you have more than a months data. Will only email less than a months worth of readings starting with the oldest.

I read all the reviews before buying this and after using it for a while I have to agree that it is awesome. I like that its simple, fast and reliable. Also, being able to email my numbers to my Dr is a major break through for diabetes management on the go. Only changes I would like to see are what others have been asking for, to have the date display reveresed and for the graphs to show glucose over time as default rather than just today. Otherwise this is a great app and Im very happy with it. But please make those changes....

Very disappointed. Just like review from chesb the home screen and the chart is blank. It lets you enter blood sugars and then promptly forgets it. Ive tried contacting customer support but they are not at all helpful (The grammar and attention span of the support staff reminds me of a ten year old with ADHD). Totally useless. 2nd gen Touch OS 2.2.1

I highly recommend this app if you are looking for a simple straightforward way to track your daily blood sugar levels, the medicines you take to control your levels, and what you eat to track how your meals effect your blood sugar levels. The charting is color coded by levels so its easy to read, and sending an e-mail to your health care provider couldnt be simpler. Kudos to the developer!

I agree with many others that its very annoying that when I enter something I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see it or any of my most recent entries. Cant stand the emails sent...military time?? Annoying. If its entered in regular time then why doesnt it print as that? If not, add the option to customize. I also dont like that you cant get a report with glucose readings and insulin given/meds taken combined. Try to read both to your doctors off of two separate reports in MILITARY time. Grrr! You also need to add u-500 insulin. Ive been selecting Regular insulin and putting u-500 in the notes, but it doesnt save for the next entry. I have to keep entering it every time. I guess Ill go back to Glucose Buddy for the time being until someone changes these things. Sounds like Ill be waiting awhile. :(

Doesnt show "MY" Actual on the chart. All I get is colors. No white line. Also need to change set up on first screen. Getting old scrolling all the way down to see most recent readings. Otherwise good app.

Data entry is slow and cumbersome. Not designed if you plan on keying in results from dates in past. Would be nice if software had default settings to streamline routine and similar entries and the most important app feature would be to allow it to import data from a .TXT or .CSV file from the PC so that I could have my history with me without having to key it in again!

Horriable app cant use it every time I go to enter the category it crashes delted and reinstalled it twice get it together

This app doesnt work!! You got to click the category section and the app shuts down! And closes out!! You can not save with out it either!!!

I bought this app for my iPhone 5. It never worked. I was never able to input any information. Dont waste your time or your money.

:-( there are several screens that require you to click on multiple buttons and several of them throw me out of the app!! I cant use it at all!
