Finally an easy way to record and keep track of all your diabetic information needs!
Diabetes is a chronic disease triggered by high levels of sugar in the blood. Fortunately, because of recent research most types can now be controlled in different ways. In order to control the disease, diabetics need to constantly check their lifestyle. It gets very complicated to keep track of all the food, exercise and medicine intake; that is why we created this amazing new application! Some of the main features include:

-Being able to record your glucose level as often as you need during the day. This application makes it in a very user friendly way; every recording you can add the date and time it was taken. The level of sugar is written in mg/dL, and it can be categorized depending on the moment of the day it was taken.

-Glucose levels get charted automatically. The chart is divided by colors making it easy to track and understand.

-Note down your food intake and exercise, helping you understand why the levels of glucose shifted.

-You are able to include your medication intake. This may help you analyze and also keep track. Unlike other applications, here you can select exactly the brand and amount you took for future reference.

-You can annotate your physician recommendations as well as the targets you wish to accomplish; keeping all the information together and simpler to handle.

-Unlike other applications, the graph can be set for as many days as you want; you can analyze one specific day or the whole month at once.

-You can take screenshots of the graphs and information and automatically send to your physician. Unlike other applications the software can also make individual reports about the food, exercise and medication.

-Diabetes unfortunately affects thousands of people; with this application you can share questions and comments with other users and experts in a special forum with just a click of a button.

Diabetes shouldn’t be a life threatening disease; in most cases it can be controlled with the right monitoring and lifestyle. We are trying to help this cause with this application! We hope we can help you track your lifestyle in order to lead a healthier life, even with diabetes! We are constantly working on future versions, please share with us any comments or suggestions you may have!

Pros and cons of Blood Sugar Diabetes Control app for iPhone and iPad

Blood Sugar Diabetes Control app good for

After that i can tell this one is the best! Easy to use... Many more features, best graph, best all..
I have had no crashes, it works well. The only things Id consider is maybe reversing the order of data, so the most current is first. And Id like to see the graph take all the data and make a graph as the default instead of just the current date. And maybe add some more oral medications to the list of medicines, like Acarbose, Actos, Avandia, Glucophage, Glyburide, Glyset, Miglitol, Pioglitazone, Prandin, Precose, Repaglinide, Rosiglitazone, and Starlix to the list of oral medications. Again, its solid, hasnt crashed on me, its easy to use and well worth the money.
This one the best app for tracking blood sugars and sending to your doctor Very user friendly
I love the simplicity of the program and my doctor was so impressed with the fact that I could email my readings before each appointment, she even wanted to tell other patients about this app. However I have given up on the program because it suddenly crashes and I have to remember my readings and retype them up to 6 times. I love the program but I dont have time for that junk. Everything else about the program is perfect!!!
I use this app every - somestimes as much as 6 times. The charting is trslly good. The only think I would like to see different is the at days be in reverse order - today at the top followed by yesterday, etc. I have a lot of records and it takes some time to scroll down to today to see what my log looks like. Thanks for a good and simple to use app that works.
Since I utilize both an insulin pump and a sensor, both of those devices keep track of the actual blood sugar and time, but there is no way to record what other factors influenced the rise and fall of my blood sugar. I can download pump and sensor reports to my computer, and with the additional information emailed to my doctor, we have a more complete picture. Both my endocrinologist and my pump representative were impressed with this additional tool. Its easy to use and its effective.

Some bad moments

Purchase this programe not good in Canada & Asia as it is measure in mmol,
First of all, the program gets pleasure out of crashing. Not every time. Not when repeating the item that just crashed it. But it gets a real kick out of hearing me yell "@%$#"! Second, it isnt intuitive.  To enter (for example) a blood sugar reading, you have to go to a new screen and enter the date and time (did anybody think to use the current date and time as the default? No? They should have. So you enter the date and time and hit save. It returns you to the first screen where there are more things to fill out. Now you enter the blood sugar reading (please remember to hit save ... or everything else you saved, is no longer saved). So youve hit saved at least twice, but WAIT .. you have to hit SAVE again, to save the record. Forget any of those three saves and it the record is completely gone (but wait, I hit save before .. it doesnt count .. go back to GO, do not collect $100!) or everything crashes. I reported it to the developer and got a quick response saying theyll "check on it."  So far, havent heard back A total waste of a buck.
When I open this app, it goes to the home page, but there is nothing on it. When I type in a blood sugar number, it doesnt move on to the graph. Why cant I go back from the email program? I have to quit and start over. Where is an email address for the developer?? When I click on the link in iTunes it goes to a web site forum. Im a newbe. Help. Thx.
This app is pretty simple to use and it does the job. However, it does have a few problems that need to be resolved: first of all, there are not enough categories (and the fact that you cant leave it blank makes that a pain). When entering the amount of carbs I had with breakfast it would only let me select "before breakfast" or "after breakfast"…the problem there should be obvious. Second, they misspelled "Novolog".
This app does not work on my Touch. It will let me record blood sugar readings; but will not chart and will not send email results. The chart is blank and the email does not contain any info. I want my money back!
This application is despicable. If you click the more info page, it goes to a message board that is trashed with pornographic links ranging from farm animals to old grannies with big t**s!!! Horrible
